Recommended Setup for the Best Experience

To maximise Sylia's AI scheduling capabilities:

  1. Connect your primary Google Calendar directly to InsideSync.
  2. Also connect Apple Calendar to capture additional accounts (Outlook, Google, Exchange, iCloud, Yahoo, etc.).

Important

If your primary Google account is already connected directly to InsideSync, do not connect that same Google account again through Apple Calendar. This may cause duplicate events.

Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar

  1. Go to Onboarding or Profile Settings → Calendar Integration → Google Calendar.
  2. Sign in to your Google account.
  3. Grant the requested permissions.

InsideSync is a Google-verified app, ensuring a secure and trusted connection.

Once connected, your Google events will sync automatically, and Sylia can manage them seamlessly.

Apple Calendar

Connect Apple Calendar

  1. Go to Onboarding or Profile Settings → Calendar Integration → Calendar.
  2. Enable Apple Calendar.
  3. Grant InsideSync full calendar access when prompted.

Once connected, everything visible in Apple Calendar will sync to InsideSync.

Important Notes About Apple Calendar

  • Apple Calendar acts as an aggregator. If an account appears in your Apple Calendar, it can sync to InsideSync once you connect Apple Calendar. This allows Sylia to consolidate multiple providers into one intelligent scheduling layer.
  • Sylia connects to Apple Calendar only, not directly to the underlying email providers.
  • InsideSync syncs exactly what Apple Calendar provides. Any integration issues between Apple Calendar and those providers are beyond our control.
